On Saturday my sister and I went to the Stitches and Craft Show… wasn’t it fun!! I got to meet some lovely bloggers, saw lots of fun things and of course bought fabric….

Now to get sewing – my sister saw my fabric stash when we got home and commented that it is a little out of control and perhaps I didn’t need the above!

I really wish I could embroider happy, colourful things! A challenge for this year perhaps?

Blogtoberfest – Post 27

As anyone who’s read my blog for more than a week would know, I’m obsessed with making flickr mosaics. I used to try to keep my mosaic making to weekly but since I’ve been struggling with my Blogtoberfest posts I’ve been churning out too many and have wondered if I should try to cut back, after all this blog is meant to be about my home, not the millions of people on Flickr’s. So in a case of perfect timing I whooped with joy reading Tamara of Sunday Stash fame’s blog as she’s invited people to play along with Friday Flickr Favourites.  I have the perfect excuse to continue with my mosaic obsession on a weekly basis – thanks Tamara!
