My nanna and pop sent me this card with a lovely little detachable Gaelic Blessing bookmark.
My husdband surprised me this morning with these gorgeous Pandora earrings!!
Throughout the day there’s been homemade cake, more cards, emails and flowers. I feel lucky to have such lovely poeple in my life.

Collections – Holland

When I was little I read mum’s old Bobbsey Twins books, one in particular was my favourite- The Bobbsey Twins in Tulip Land. They didn’t actually travel to Holland, just a Dutch themed part of America but instantly I loved the sound of Holland and wanted to go.
I’ve still not yet been to Holland but this hasn’t stopped me from collecting blue and while Dutch themed china. Here’s some of my collection. Some of it is quite old, others new.
Isn’t the little owlie cute! He’ll feature in my next collections post- Owls.

Doily Garland
Today we’re going to make a doily garland. It’s essentially a string of doily’s and paper circles sewn together.
You need:
1 packet of paper doilys. My garland used 32 (plus one extra for your circle template)
